Online Survey -In-visioning future of Black CommUnity Centers in Berlin.
Dear Comm Unity members,
we ask that you give us 10-15 minutes of your time to participate in this survey.

Within the framework of the UN Decade for People of African Descent (2015-2024), four Town Hall Meetings (Cologne, Berlin, Munich, Leipzig) took place in 2019. This resulted in a catalog of 17 demands for the protection and equality of people of African descent in Germany.

One demand is the establishment and long-term promotion of community centers for black, African and Afrodiasporic communities. The project "Into the Future: CommUnity" was born out of this very demand and wants to determine the feasibility of a PAD Community Center in Berlin.

Do you also dream of a community center by and for Black, African and Afrodiasporic people in Berlin? Do you already have an idea of what this could look like and how those these make you feel? In this survey you can tell us your needs, interests and opinions.

By participating, you will assist us to generate reliable figures that can be used by PAD (People of African Descent) communities and stakeholders in the future as a basis for decision-making for projects such as the establishment of a PAD Community Centers.

The analysis of the survey will be published on the EOTO website and alongside a manual, a guide on how to to establishing PAD Community Centers in Berlin, at the end of 2021. This manual will be made available to all Black communities.
