Mangoes & Friends - The African Book Club: Online

mangoes & friends is an English book club that aims at empowering people of African descent (PAD) through reading the works of writers from the African continent and Africans in the diaspora. We will introduce the works of African and Afrodiasporic writers and create a space to openly and honestly discuss stories and books we can relate to. Take the opportunity to meet with African, Black and Afrodiasporic bookworms and fans of the occasional literary enjoyment, discuss PAD authors.

The book club is led by Fitsame Teferra, a literary enthusiast running the independent children's books publishing house specializing in African languages and stories Habte Books.

REGISTRATION: To register, please send an email to info@habtebooks.com. Upon registration you will receive the link to the online platform and a 10 page pdf excerpt of our first read. We are looking forward to seeing you on Sundays!

The mangoes & friends Book Club at Each One Teach One (EOTO) e.V. is funded by Berliner Senatsverwaltung für Integration, Arbeit und Soziales - der Beauftragten für Integration und Migration (Berlin Senate for Integration, Labour and Social Affairs - the Commissioner for Integration and Migration)
