Black Community Screening: Babylon (1980)

The first in a series of free community screenings, Black Cinema Club presents the iconic British cult classic Babylon (1980).
About this Event
Premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and suppressed in the U.S. due to the film "being too controversial" Babylon follows a young dancehall DJ and his friends in South London while pursuing musical ambitions, at the same time battling racism in 1980s Britain.

Due to limited space and keep distancing, the screening is limited to max capacity of 20.
