Beyond Us
Join us for a night of immersive visual and audio storytelling honoring the transformative community born during the Berlin Black Lives Matter movement. This exhibition takes the audience on a journey that explores our newfound collective strength that continues to transform us individually and collectively on an international scale. BEYOND US is curated by Kris Prunskis and incorporates work from 12+ formerly/currently Berlin-Based, BIPOC artists. It is a one-night-only event that you won't want to miss!
About the artist (KGPproductions.com): Kris G Prunskis is an acrylic artist whose work focuses on harnessing her own experiences and relationships within her diverse communities. Through use of texture, manipulation of color, and drawing inspiration from captured photographs, Kris imagines alternative ways to bridge the gap between the subject and the observer, aiming to cultivate empathy and nurture connections within multicultural and queer spaces. Emphasizing unity and togetherness, she is also dedicated to curating an international community of artists through the reimagination of their work in her own paintings. Kris was born to a Lithuanian father and Black-American mother in the Chicago area (USA). Raised to embrace her cultural identities and view the world through an intersectional lens, she has since chosen to pursue her passion for healing of the human body and human heart through medical sciences and artistic expression.
