Female Led NPO Roots Berlin is collaborating with growing music hub and curator Thru the Grapevine for new annual event series Back To The Roots a creative discovery of the many places we come from, intended to push the collaborative spirit between creatives from the African diaspora and Africa, with the power to retell our own stories.

The Nov 18th launch event will be streamed via Youtube from Ghana, highlighting five amazing local talents across music and art. Spotlighted will be afro indie collective SuperJazzClub; Pure Akan one of Ghana's most influential voices, and more.

The event will take place in the stunning industrial space of "Alte Münze''. Highlight of the evening is the live screening on a 270 degree screen! Not only will you experience exciting visuals but you will be showered with the greatest tunes.

In support of Skate Gal Club Ghana the event will serve to raise funds for the inspiring female collective empowering and uplifting young women. To sustainably support the collective we ask for a minimum donation of 5,00€.
